Fallout Boy - Believers Never Die

After five albums and endless hits Fall Out Boy have sadly gone on indefinite hiatus, this compilation reminds us what they have left us.

The album's tracklisting reads in almost a chronological order but not including any tracks off their debut. It kicks off with Dead On Arrival, Grand Theft Autumn and live closer Saturday which are 3 high energy poppunk tracks, quite distant from their more recent offerings and collaborations with Pharrell Williams and Timbaland.

The next two tracks Sugar, We're Goin Down and Dance Dance are arguably the tracks that propelled their success with heavy play on music television channels and even Radio 1. Showing off the punk sound of their previous two albums but laced with huge pop hooks.

Following on are tracks from Infinity on High which was when Fall Out Boy were at their peak of success, This Ain't a Scene and Thnks fr the Mmrs are pop rock tracks with elements of dance and r n b, aided by the production of American R n B producer Babyface.

The excellent cover of Micheal Jackon's Beat It is included as are tracks from Foile a Deux that continue their mixing elements of pop, dance and R n B in to the poprock sound.

It is a fitting tribute to a great poprock band but I would imagine fans of the band will have all the material and I would recommend people who have not got the earlier material to instead by the older albums, not this best of.

Out on CD and CD/DVD special edition.
